Lunch Menu
Children are able to bring raw fruit or vegetables for their morning snack every day. We are a strictly nut-free school.
Our Herts Catering Ltd team work hard to feed over 200 children each day. They offer two main meal choices as well as a jacket potato option. They are also very experienced in catering for different dietary requirements, such as allergies or religious requirements.

The cost of a school dinner is £3.50 and you will need to make your children’s meal choices with them at home via the School Gateway. You can select and pay for a meal up to 10 weeks in advance. Please note that the cut off time for booking a meal is 8am on the day the meal is required. If your child is having a packed lunch from home, no action is required. You can mix and match school dinners and home packed lunches – you just need to make sure a dinner is booked on the days required.
Just a reminder that you cannot book a meal until you have a credit in your account. Unfortunately, a meal will not be available for your child if a choice has not been made at home in advance and a packed lunch from home will need to be provided on that day and needs to be in school by 11am.

If your child has an allergy or intolerance, please ensure that they are registered with HCL as they will have a special menu which you will be able to find on your HCL portal and you can then also book their choice via School Gateway. Should your child be absent from school, it is your responsibility to cancel their meal choice for that day. Failure to do this will result in a charge being applied to your account.
