Choir

Choir is led throughout the year by Miss Bunce and Mrs Harrison. Other members of staff sometimes support.

In the Autumn term, children in Year 5 and 6 can take part in the Young Voices concert. There are also opportunities to sing in the Rotary Choir, Southdown Lights and Lanterns Choir as well as the PTA Christmas Fayre. Year 3 and 4 children are also invited to sing at Southdown Lights and Lanterns.

In the Spring term, children in Year 3 and 4 attend a choir where we sing for fun! Year 6 are invited to take part in a Spring Festival choir, singing with other Harpenden Schools at the Eric Morecambe Centre.

In the Summer term, children across the whole school are invited to take part in a Summer Choir, where we prepare songs for end of year events such as the PTA Summer Festival.

Friday 28th November at 5:15pm - Southdown Lights Up (all Y3/4 and Y5/6 choir welcome)

Saturday 29th November at 2pm - PTA Christmas Fayre (all Y3/4 and Y5/6 choir welcome)

Wednesday 3rd December (all day plus evening concert) - Rotary Carol Concert at High Street Methodist Church (Y6 Rotary Choir only)

Tuesday 9th December at 10am - Seniors' Coffee Morning at Harpenden Trust (Y6 Rotary Choir only)

Wednesday 10th December at 5:30pm - Mayors' Carol Concert at St John's Church, Southdown (Y6 Rotary Choir only)

Thursday 11th December at 6:30pm - Harpenden Open Choir Christmas Concert at The Grove Junior School (Y6 Rotary Choir only)
